Alaska NW22 International Changes: Canada all-Jet Service Moves to 4Q22

Alaska Airlines in recent weeks filed changes to its planned international operation for Northern winter 2022/23 season, between 30OCT22 and 25MAR23. Based on schedule comparison 14AUG22 vs 25SEP22, planned overall frequency adjustment as follows.

The airline’s planned service resumption on Portland OR – Vancouver route is now scheduled from 18MAY23, instead of 16MAR23.

Separately, the airline’s planned all-Jet service to Canada, previously scheduled from 09JAN23, has now moved forward to 30NOV22. The airline’s Dash8-Q400 operation between 30OCT22 and 29NOV22 (US departure) for Canada as follows.

Seattle – Kelowna 1 daily until 29NOV22
Seattle – Vancouver 1 daily until 29NOV22 (additional Dash 8-Q400 flights also scheduled on selected dates in November)
Seattle – Victoria 1 daily until 29NOV22

From 30NOV22, all service between US and Canada is operated by Embraer E175 (Skywest for Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria, Horizon for Calgary and Edmonton).
