Lufthansa Group Adds Cathay Pacific Cairns Codeshare in NW24

Lufthansa Group in Northern winter 2024/25 season is expanding codeshare partnership with Cathay Pacific, covering the latter’s planned service resumption on Hong Kong – Cairns route. Previously reported, Cathay Pacific will resume this seasonal service from 17DEC24, 3 times weekly with Airbus A350-900.

Lufthansa and SWISS flight numbers will appear on Cathay-operating service.

Separately, Finnair will also place AY-coded flight numbers on this route.
