United in its preliminary schedule filing during Northern summer 2025 season tentatively lists aircraft changes on San Francisco – Papeete route. From 30MAR25, the Star Alliance carrier tentatively files Boeing 787-8 service on the 5 weekly flights, instead of -9 or a mix of -8 and -9 variants.

Further changes remain highly possible.
