Qantas NS24 International Service Changes – 13FEB24

Qantas this week filed schedule update to its planned Northern summer 2024 international operation, reflecting the changes filed in its inventory since late-December 2023, which was previously reported on AeroRoutes on 29DEC23.

Latest update to its international service changes, excluding Trans-Tasman routes, as of 13FEB24 includes the following.

Melbourne – Los Angeles eff 14JUL24 Reduce from 9 to 7 weekly unchanged. A380 service will continue to operate 2 weekly instead of 6
Sydney – Auckland – New York JFK
14AUG24 – 09OCT24 4 weekly 787-9 service unchanged, instead of increase to 7 weekly (QF since late-December 2023 only opened bookings on 5 of 7 weekly flights)
eff 10OCT24 Increase from 4 to 6 weekly

Sydney – Johannesburg
eff 08JUL24 787-9 service maintained, 6 weekly (Planned service reduction from 6 to 4 weekly in August/September cancelled)
01AUG24 – 12AUG24 Increase from 6 to 7 weekly
eff 30SEP24 A380 replaces 787-9 (Previous: eff 08JUL24)

Sydney – Los Angeles
eff 18JUL24 Reduce from 8 to 7 weekly, instead of increase to 9 weekly. A380 operates 1 daily flight (additional 2 weekly by 787 removed)
