WestJet since the fourth quarter of 2023 filed preliminary service extension on some of its seasonal long-haul routes in 2024. As of 31JAN24, planned service extension into November 2024 includes the following, with effective dates based on Calgary departure.

Calgary – Barcelona Service extends until 09NOV24 (3 weekly from 29OCT24, 1 weekly from 03NOV24)
Calgary – Rome Fiumicino Service extends to 16NOV24 (4 weekly from 27OCT24, 3 weekly from 05NOV24)
Calgary – Tokyo Narita Service extends to 29NOV24 (3 weekly)
