United Removes Newark – Hong Kong NW23 Schedule

United Airlines during the weekend of 28SEP23’s schedule update removed schedule listing for Newark – Hong Kong route, between 27OCT23 and 30MAR24. The Star Alliance carrier previously only opened reservation in highest fare classes J / O / Y-class during this period.

Previously filed schedule between 05NOV23 and 09MAR24 as follows.

UA180 HKG1025 – 1305EWR 777 D

Although the airline continues to list service on/after 31MAR24 available for reservation, the only available fare classes for reservations are: J / O / A / Y / B / M / E / U. Further changes can be expected in the next few months. During Northern winter 2023/24 season, United operates 2 daily San Francisco – Hong Kong (1 daily each 777-200ER/-300ER) and 1 daily Los Angeles – Hong Kong (787-9; service resumption) flights.
