Virgin Australia in recent schedule update filed service changes for Samoa, as the airline removes Sydney – Apia service, on/after 29OCT23. Previously filed schedule as follows.

VA097 SYD0805 – 1535APW 73H 26
VA100 APW1640 – 2055SYD 73H 26

The airline will consolidate service to Brisbane – Apia route, where it’ll operate 4 weekly flights from 29OCT23, instead of 2.

VA075 BNE1930 – 0315+1APW 73W x246
VA076 APW0530 – 0815BNE 73H x357

Overall service will further increase to 5 weekly from 11DEC23 to 26JAN24. Previously reported on AeroRoutes, the carrier’s new 737 MAX 8 is scheduled to operate this route along with 737-800 from 23JAN24 at earliest.
