Star Alliance members Lufthansa and South African Airways from August 2023 plans to resume reciprocal codeshare partnership. Effective 07AUG23, planned codeshare service to cover following routes.

Lufthansa operated by South African Airways
Johannesburg – Cape Town
Johannesburg – Durban

South African Airways operated by Lufthansa
Johannesburg – Frankfurt
