AirAsia from June 2023 plans to resume 3 routes between Malaysia and Mainland China, including service operated by AirAsia X.

AirAsia X will also resume service to Chengdu, operating as Kuala Lumpur – Chengdu Tianfu from 01JUL23, initially 3 weekly flights, increasing to 4 weekly from 07AUG23, 5 from 01OCT23. This route was last served until March 2020.
