Virgin Australia as of Wednesday 10MAY23 filed aircraft changes for its planned Cairns – Tokyo Haneda route, scheduled to inaugurate on 28JUN23. Due to the delay of planned aircraft delivery, the airline is now scheduling Boeing 737-700 aircraft, tentatively until 08AUG23. Planned 737 MAX 8 aircraft is now scheduled to operate this route from 09AUG23 at earliest.
