Batik Air Malaysia in August 2023 is further expanding service to Japan, including new route to Okinawa, operating via Taipei. Planned service expansion as follows.

The airline continues to operate 3 weekly Kuala Lumpur – Taipei Taoyuan – Nagoya flights with 737 MAX 8. The carrier’s overall service for Taipei will increase from 7 to 14 weekly.
