Firefly Expands Domestic Network From May 2023

Firefly from mid-May 2023 plans to add new service from Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, on board Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Planned new routes to include the following.

Kota Kinabalu – Kuching eff 16MAY23 1 daily 737-800

FY2563 KCH1805 – 1935BKI 738 D

Kota Kinabalu – Tawau eff 16MAY23 1 daily 737-800
FY2520 BKI0700 – 0750TWU 738 D
FY2521 TWU0830 – 0920BKI 738 D

Kuching – Miri eff 16MAY23 1 daily 737-800
FY2680 KCH1445 – 1545MYY 738 D
FY2681 MYY1625 – 1725KCH 738 D

Firefly’s service are likely to replace existing Malaysia Airlines mainline service, as reservation on the latter’s flights on/after 16MAY23 are no longer available.
