Virgin Australia in last week’s schedule update filed Boeing 737 MAX 8 domestic service, tentatively scheduled from 11SEP23. The 737 MAX 8 is scheduled to operate following routes, as of 26MAR23.

Brisbane – Cairns eff 11SEP23
Brisbane – Perth eff 11SEP23
Brisbane – Sydney eff 09OCT23
Sydney – Melbourne eff 12OCT23
Sydney – Perth eff 09OCT23

Previously reported, the airline will begin Cairns – Tokyo Haneda service with 737 MAX 8 from 28JUN23. The domestic 737 MAX 8 operation may move forward in future schedule updates, as reservation is not available for the moment.
