Malaysian carrier MYAirline in April 2023 plans to expand its network, including service launch of Kota Kinabalu – Tawau route, effective 18APR23. This route is scheduled once a day with Airbus A320 aircraft.

Other planned frequency increase includes;
Kuala Lumpur – Kota Kinabalu eff 22APR23 Increase from 3 to 4 daily
Kuala Lumpur – Tawau eff 18APR23 Increase from 1 to 2 daily (Service launched on 18JAN23)
