Qatar Airways in recent schedule update filed aircraft changes for Penang, despite reservation remains unavailable, nor mentioned in its planned network expansion earlier this month. Penang is listed as “no local traffic rights” from both Doha and Phuket.

Based on schedule listing, the airline is displaying Boeing 777-200LR/-300ER aircraft service on Doha – Phuket – Penang routing, replacing A330-300, effective 01APR23. QR840/841 is listed as 4 times weekly.
