Air Tahiti Plans Extra Nuku Hiva Flights in Dec 2023

Air Tahiti in December 2023 is adding extra Papeete – Nuku Hiva flights, coinciding with “Mata'vaa o te Fenua Enata” (Marquesas Islands Arts Festival) 2023. Between 14DEC23 and 27DEC23, the airline will operate up to 13 weekly flights, instead of 8, with ATR72 aircraft.

On 14DEC23 and 21DEC23, the airline will operate overall up to 3 and 4 flights to Nuku Hiva respectively, instead of 1-2 flights a day. Flying time between Papeete and Nuku Hiva is 3hrs 15mins, one of the longest ATR72 flights operated by the airline, and selected ATR72 routes with flying time exceeding 3 hours in the world.
