Finnair last week filed service changes on selected European service during Northern summer 2023 season, between 26MAR23 and 28OCT23, as a number of routes receive frequency variations, based on schedule comparison 15JAN23 vs 22JAN23. Planned changes include the following.

Note this update only focuses on service to/from Helsinki.

Helsinki – Bergen Increase from 217 to 341 flights (Increase from 7 to 11 weekly)
Helsinki – Berlin Increase from 651 to 852 flights (Increase from 3 to 4 daily)
Helsinki – Bologna Reduce from 190 to 157 flights (Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly)
Helsinki – Copenhagen Increase from 992 to 1208 flights (Increase from 32 to 39 weekly)
Helsinki – Preveza Increase from 23 to 46 flights
Helsinki – Kuopio Increase from 615 to 771 flights (Increase from 20 to 27 weekly during selected periods)
Helsinki – Malaga Reduce from 313 to 297 flights
Helsinki – Prague Increase from 436 to 602 flights (Increase from 2 to 3 daily, except selected weeks)
Helsinki – Riga Increase from 651 to 868 flights (Increase from 3 to 4 daily)
Helsinki – Tromso Increase from 93 to 124 flights (Increase from 3 to 4 weekly)
Helsinki – Trondheim Reduce from 155 to 86 flights (Reduce from 5 to 2 weekly)
Helsinki – Venice Reduce from 180 to 156 flights (Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly)
Helsinki – Vilnius Increase from 647 to 854 flights (Increase from 3 to 4 daily)
Helsinki – Zagreb Increase from 24 to 64 flights
Helsinki – Zakynthos Increase from 21 to 42 flights (Increase from 1 to 2 weekly)

Separately, Finnair during the week of 22JAN23’s OAG schedules filed following seasonal leisure routes:
Helsinki – Corfu 13MAY23 – 07OCT23 1 weekly A321 (Replacing A319 in NS22)
Helsinki – Karpathos 16MAY23 – 10OCT23 1 weekly A319

The airline has removed Helsinki – Skiathos leisure flight in 2023.
