Air Tahiti Nui Revises Japan Operation in NS23

Air Tahiti Nui has further revised service to Japan, for Northern summer 2023 season. First highlighted on AeroRoutes last week (23AUG22), the airline tentatively opened reservations for Papeete – Tokyo Narita route as 4 weekly flights, instead of 2.

As of 28AUG22, the airline has reverted back to 2 weekly, based on available flights for reservation, although the airline’s timetable listing continues to list 4 weekly flights (see screenshot below). The adjustment sees revised operational days, where Papeete departure shifts 24 hours earlier, departing Mondays and Thursdays, instead of Fridays and Sundays. Tokyo departure will move to Tuesdays and Fridays, instead of Mondays and Saturdays.
