Turkish Airlines Schedules A350 Southern Africa Service

Turkish Airlines in the last few weeks filed changes to its planned Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft service to Southern Africa. Initially scheduled from mid-June 2022, the A350 is now scheduled from late-May 2022.

Istanbul – Johannesburg 4 weekly A330-300 terminator. Gradual aircraft change to A350-900XWB from 26MAY22, 1 of 4 weekly (2 from 14JUN22, A350 service from 09AUG22)
Istanbul – Johannesburg – Durban eff 16JUN22 Service resumption for Durban, 1 of 2 weekly by A350-900XWB, all 2 weekly with A350 from 13AUG22
Istanbul – Johannesburg – Maputo eff 17JUN22 Service resumption for Maputo, 1 weekly A330-300 (A350-900XWB from 12AUG22)

By 09AUG22, all Johannesburg flights will be operated by A350-900XWB aircraft. Istanbul – Cape Town route is operated by 787-9.
